Lately, the weather here in the Manila is more unpredictable than my temper on an incredibly hormonal day: one minute it’s bright and sunny, and the next it’s raining like hell. For commuters like myself, getting caught in the rain on your way to work or to a movie date or wherever, well, sucks. You didn’t waste all that time prepping yourself up just for the rain or your sweat to ruin your carefully prepared look. An umbrella is a must-have item in every commuter’s bag.
What will you say when she asks?
One of the most disappointing things kids need to find out is the fact that Santa isn’t real. I don’t have kids yet, so I might not have to answer this question for a good 10 years, but I think this is the perfect, most sincere way of telling my kids that their bouncy, red-clad friend haven’t been filling up their socks with treats:
NOT in a rush
And after you get married, they’ll start pestering you to have kids. And your friends getting married (or getting pregnant) one after another is no help at all. K and I have been together for 6 years and neither of us have siblings. Imagine that–sometimes I think our relatives are more excited for our wedding than we are, haha.
Pound for pound
K and I had a phase when all we did after office hours is go to mall the and play DrumMania all afternoon. It was back when we’re both drummer wannabes and can’t yet afford the rather steep prices of drumming lessons (if I remember correctly, our favorite songs to play were Libra, Monster Tree, and Saccharine Smile).
Our office holds a Halloween costume contest every year, and this year I’d like to be:
Let’s get this out first: I’m a girl in my mid-twenties (you will never know what my exact age is, sorry! 
) who appreciates well-written Young Adult novels. And, IMO, the Hunger Games series is one of the best-written books in this genre. If you haven’t read these, what are you doing still parked in front of your computer reading this entry? Go to the nearest bookstore and get yourself a copy, stat! Better yet, buy the whole set. Trust me, you’ll hate yourself if you finished The Hunger Games in the middle of the night and you have to wait the next day to get a copy of Catching Fire.
