My father was the kind of person who can whip up a perfectly respectable meal from the top of his head, no recipes required. I guess some people are just born that way: they know, instinctively, which pinch of this and which dash of what go well together.
LATE POST: The 26th VW Classic and Custom Car Show

Bumper to Bumper
K’s band, Radiostation, was invited to play during the 26th VW Classic and Custom Car Show, held a few weeks ago at the Fort Bonifacio Naval Grounds. It was the first time we attended a car show, and though the rain kinda dampened our spirits at first, seeing the classically beautiful vintage cars on display truly cheered us up. I didn’t even mind sloshing through the water to take photos! The cars were really gorgeous.
First Batch! Film Photography!

Through the looking glass
There’s something really exciting with shooting in film. Digital cameras are crisper and sharper, and of course, more convenient. But using it just doesn’t have the same kind of thrill. With digital cameras, all the work is done for you. As long as you know how to operate your camera, chances are, you can get a decent enough photo most of the time. Must be why most people who can afford a decent camera fancy themselves as photographers, but IMO, it takes a lot more than that.
Y! Rocks Concert, well, rocks!

Ready, sing!
We were lucky enough to score a few SVIP tickets from our friend, so we got to see some of the best bands in the country in Yahoo Philippines’ Y! Rocks concert last night.
D-Day! (Divisoria Day)

Early morning dose of Vitamin C
K and I are going to climb Mt. Pulag in February! It’s our first time to attempt mountain climbing, and we’re going to Luzon’s highest peak. Ambitious, yes? But we heard the trail was pretty easy and the photos are ruddy marvelous. I sweet-talked/conned K into coming with me by saying we’ll have a lot of amazing photos for our Facebook profile pics.
